Edit a PDF page

Add text boxes and images anywhere on a PDF page by clicking a live preview, then apply every change in one go.

Click anywhere on a live preview of your PDF page to drop in a text box or an image, position and size as many elements as you need, then apply all of them to the PDF in one go.

What this tool can do

This online PDF editor adds new text boxes and images to your PDF. It does not rewrite the existing text inside a page. To revise existing paragraphs, convert a text-based PDF to Word, make your changes, then convert it back to PDF.

What you can edit

Edit PDF lets you place several text boxes and images across different pages and apply them all in one pass. It covers most day-to-day edits: filling in a form that has no fields, adding a logo, or correcting a label on a drawing.

It adds content on top of the page; it does not rewrite the text already in the PDF. To rewrite paragraphs, convert with PDF to Word, edit, and convert back with Word to PDF.

How to use this tool

  1. Upload the PDF and pick a page to edit.
  2. Click the preview to add text or an image, and adjust its position, size, and (for text) color.
  3. Apply all elements at once and download the edited PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit multiple pages in one session?

Yes, switch pages in the preview and add elements to each; every element across every page you touch is applied together when you submit.

Can I edit existing text already in the PDF?

No, this adds new text and image elements on top of the page; it does not modify or remove the PDF's existing content.

Tips

  • To remove something from the page rather than cover it, use Redact PDF. A white box drawn over text leaves the text in the file.
