About Fileixa

Fileixa is a free, browser-based toolkit for the everyday PDF, image, and file tasks people run into constantly: merging PDFs before sending them, shrinking a file so it fits an email attachment limit, converting a scanned document into something editable, or cutting the background out of a product photo. Each tool does one job, does it well, and doesn't ask you to create an account first.

Fileixa is built and operated by Creates Online LLC. We built it because the tools we needed for our own document and image work were either paywalled after a handful of uses, cluttered with unrelated upsells, or slow. Fileixa focuses on the task itself.

How it works

When you upload a file to a Fileixa tool, it is sent to our servers for processing — Fileixa is a server-side application, not a local desktop tool, so this is a necessary part of how conversion, compression, and AI-assisted tools function. The result is generated, made available for you to download, and then automatically deleted: raw uploads are removed within about an hour, and processed output files within about two hours, whether or not you download them. We don't keep a library of your files, and we don't use the content of your files for anything other than producing the result you asked for.
