How to use this tool

  1. Upload the image.
  2. Enter the position and size of the area to clean, and confirm you have the right to edit the image.
  3. Download the cleaned image.

Frequently asked questions

How good is the result?

It depends on what is behind the mark. Over sky, walls, paper and other plain or softly textured areas the fill is usually hard to spot. Over faces, text or fine patterns the rebuilt area can look smudged.

Can I use this on a visible Gemini image watermark?

For a Gemini-generated JPG, PNG or WebP image you are allowed to edit, you can mark the visible logo area and try rebuilding it from nearby pixels. Results vary with the background. This tool does not detect or remove Google’s invisible SynthID watermark, and Fileixa is not affiliated with Google or Gemini.

How do I find the position of the mark?

Positions are in pixels from the top-left corner of the image. Any image viewer or editor shows the pixel position under the pointer. Make the area slightly larger than the mark.

Can I clean more than one area?

Yes, up to ten areas in one go, as long as together they cover less than 40% of the image.

Can I remove the watermark from a stock photo or someone else's picture?

No. A watermark on a stock photo means the image has not been licensed. Buy the licence to get the clean file; removing the mark without permission can break copyright law.
